LATAM Pass elite status

One top benefit of the LATAM Airlines Mastercard and LATAM Airlines World Elite Mastercard is the ability for credit card purchases to help you qualify for LATAM Pass elite status, making it easier to earn LATAM Pass status or reach a higher tier. You’ll be eligible to begin taking advantage of mileage accrual and other benefits after linking your Cardless and LATAM Pass accounts.

In addition to LATAM Airlines’ travel requirements that vary by tier, cardholders can qualify for LATAM Pass elite status with Qualifying Points earned from credit card spend, as outlined in detail here. While both cards accrue Qualifying Points on eligible purchases, you can earn them twice as quickly with the LATAM Airlines World Elite Mastercard, and you can earn more LATAM Pass Miles for many of your purchases, too.

Frequent flyers can also earn status after accruing a certain number of Qualifying Segments, instead of Qualifying Points, based on the chart below. Travelers earn one segment after completing one paid flight sold by LATAM Airlines and operated by the airline or an eligible partner.
